Eintracht Frankfurt are set to put in a bid to sign Crystal Palace and Wolves target Hugo Ekitike on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 21-year-old striker has not set foot on the pitch since August and has been firmly out of Luis Enrique’s plans at PSG.

Crystal Palace and Wolves have their eyes on the striker but Eintracht Frankfurt are the ones who are pushing to get hold of the forward.

Talks between Ekitike and Eintracht Frankfurt have been positive and the club are now prepared to move in with an offer for him.

According to German daily Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt are set to table a bid worth €20m to take the forward to Frankfurt this month.

The German club are pushing for a permanent deal and are ready to put the money where their mouth is.

It remains to be seen whether an offer of €20m is good enough to convince PSG to sell Ekitike in the ongoing window.

Eintracht Frankfurt would still have to agree personal terms with the striker and the German club do not want to break their salary structure to sign him.

Ekitike would have to agree to earn less than half of his current €7m per year contract if he is to move to the Frankfurt outfit.
