Hibernian did not feel that offering to take Leeds United defender Kris Moore on loan was worthwhile, according to the Daily Record.

Leeds let Moore head to Dubai recently to train with Hibernian under the watchful eye of Hibs boss Nick Montgomery.

Initially, Hibs made no decision on what to do with Moore and he headed back to Leeds as the Scottish side pondered their next move.

The Scottish Premiership side though have decided that it is not worth signing defender Moore on loan.

They have instead brought back defender Kanayo Megwa from a loan stint at Airdrie.

Moore has been playing regular football for Leeds in the Premier League 2 this season and will now have to focus on life back in Yorkshire.

The 20-year-old was on the bench for the Leeds senior side in their EFL Cup clash against Shrewsbury Town earlier this season.

He is still waiting for his first senior outing for the Whites and will hope to get it soon.
