Manchester United have their eyes on 17-year-old Sweden midfielder Lucas Bergvall but a move in the winter window is unlikely.

The teenage midfielder has been attracting the prying eyes of some of the biggest clubs in Europe with his performances in Sweden.

He just has 29 first-team appearances under his belt for Djurgarden but has already earned one senior international cap for Sweden.

Clubs such as Barcelona and Juventus are interested in snapping up the teenage midfielder but he has suitors in the Premier League as well.

According to German outlet Fussball News, the teenager is very much a player Manchester United are interested in signing going forward.

Bergvall has had trials at Manchester United previously when he was just 14 and impressed the coaches.

The midfielder is also a boyhood Manchester United fan and would be keen on a move to Old Trafford.

However, Manchester United are likely to face stiff competition for his signature given his admirers across Europe.

For the moment, it seems unlikely that he will be leaving Djurgarden in the ongoing transfer window.
