Newcastle United are not prepared to entertain any offers for Kieran Trippier this month amidst interest from Bayern Munich, according to the Daily Mail.

Trippier’s future at Newcastle has come under the scanner due to admiring glances from Germany.

Thomas Tuchel is keen to bring in a right-back and Bayern Munich are discussing the possibility of signing the England international.

They are looking to add him to their English contingent of Harry Kane and Eric Dier but they will face a reluctant seller in Newcastle.

The Magpies are yet to be formally approached by Bayern Munich regarding Trippier but they do not want to sell him.

Newcastle are in no mood to entertain thoughts of the defender leaving St. James’ Park in the ongoing window.

He is still a key part of Eddie Howe’s plans and the Newcastle boss does not want to lose such an experienced player.

However, he is in the final 18 months of his contract and Newcastle are facing financial constraints that could force them into selling players.

But for the moment, Newcastle remain adamant that Trippier will not be allowed to leave this month.
