Sunderland are still waiting for Bournemouth’s decision on Kieffer Moore in their pursuit of a striker, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Moore has played just 39 minutes of Premier League football since September and is firmly on the fringes of the Bournemouth first-team squad.

Several teams in the Championship are interested in signing the forward on loan, but Bournemouth have not decided whether they want to keep him, loan him or sell him.

Sunderland are amongst the clubs who have their eyes on Moore and are pushing to land the forward on loan.

The Black Cats are desperate to bring in a striker but they are still waiting for a decision on the Bournemouth hitman.

He is their priority target and the club are keen to see whether they can get Moore in the winter window.

Bournemouth are yet to make a final call on a striker who still has 18 months left on his contract.

With less than two weeks left in the window, Sunderland may have to turn to other targets if Bournemouth continue to drag their feet.
