Crystal Palace are not considering Graham Potter as a potential successor to Roy Hodgson, according to LondonWorld.

Hodgson is coming under increasing pressure at Palace due to the side’s poor form in the Premier League.

The Eagles suffered a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal on Saturday and there is discontent amongst a section of the Palace fans.

The club would ideally like to keep Hodgson at the helm until the summer before deciding who should take over.

One manager who is not under consideration though is former Chelsea boss Potter.

The 48-year-old’s links with Crystal Palace’s rivals Brighton appear to have put him out of the running for the job.

Former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper is the front runner for the post at Selhurst Park and he is ready to return to management.

Crystal Palace currently sit five points above the drop zone in the Premier League and next play Sheffield United at Selhurst Park.

Victory could be crucial to keeping Hodgson in his post.
