Newcastle United are not looking to part ways with either Kieran Trippier or Callum Wilson before the transfer window closes, according to the Daily Telegraph.

As the end of the winter transfer window approaches, several Newcastle stars are being linked with moves away.

Eddie Howe wants to strengthen this month, but to do that he will have to be creative and offloading players could be on the agenda.

Both Trippier and Wilson are claimed to be open to moves away, with Bayern Munich and AC Milan showing interest in each, respectively.

Newcastle though do not want to let either go.

The Magpies are against letting Trippier or Wilson go this month, even though it could create space for incomings.

Newcastle have endured a poor campaign in the Premier League this season with injuries and inconsistency biting.

Howe’s side sit in mid-table and have already lost ten games in the league this term, while they are also on a run of four consecutive league defeats.
