The fee Rangers are set to pay for the signature of FC Nordsjaelland midfielder Mohamed Diomande in the ongoing window has been revealed.

 

The 22-year-old midfielder is soon expected to be in Glasgow to complete the formalities of his transfer to Rangers.

 

The Scottish giants have a deal in place with Nordsjaelland for the signature of Diomande in the ongoing winter transfer.

 

 

 

He was identified as a key target by the Rangers board and Philippe Clement and the transfer is expected to go through soon.

 

According to Danish outlet BT, Rangers have agreed to pay a fee of €5.3m for the signature of the midfielder.

 

 

The final fee could increase further based on how he does at Rangers as several performance-based add-ons are part of the deal.

 

Several other clubs were interested in getting their hands on Diomande but Rangers clinched the agreement with Nordsjaelland.

 

 

The midfielder will soon undergo a medical with Rangers ahead of signing a long-term contract with the club.

 

Diomande has made 111 appearances for Nordsjaelland since joining the club in January 2020.
