Nottingham Forest have put in an enquiry for midfielder Florian Neuhaus and Borussia Monchengladbach are prepared to let him go if they can find a replacement.

The 26-year-old midfielder’s future at Gladbach has come under the scanner with several clubs believed to be interested in signing him.

A few teams in the Bundesliga are eyeing making a move for him and he has also attracted interest from the Premier League.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland (via Fussball Transfers), Forest have made an enquiry into the possibility of signing Neuhaus in the ongoing window.

The Midlands club are negotiating the departure of Orel Mangala, who is being courted by Serie A giants Napoli this month.

Nottingham Forest are keen to line up a replacement for him and Neuhaus is being seen as a viable option in the market.

The midfielder is also keen to leave Gladbach after losing his place in the starting eleven at the club.

He has not started a league game since early December and wants to move on in the ongoing window.

Gladbach are prepared to let him leave if they can source a replacement before the end of the window.
