Tottenham Hotspur are still not open to loaning out midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and will only let him go on a permanent deal, according to the Sun.

The 28-year-old midfielder has made just five Premier League starts this season and wants to have a more important role in the team.

His future at Spurs has been under the scanner due to interest from several clubs in Italy in the ongoing window.

Juventus and Napoli are interested in the midfielder but are only prepared to sign him on an initial loan deal.

However, it has been claimed, Spurs have not changed their stance on the Denmark international’s future.

With just six days left in the window, the north London club are still not open to loaning him out.

A loan move for Hojbjerg is not something Tottenham want to discuss even at this stage of the window.

They are only prepared to let him leave if the club offer to sign him on a permanent deal.

It remains to be seen whether that changes, closer to next Thursday’s transfer deadline.
