West Ham target Ibrahim Osman could still end up in the Premier League before the end of the transfer window on Thursday night, according to The Athletic.

The 19-year-old was seemingly on his way to West Ham this month and the Hammers were in talks with Nordsjaelland over getting a deal done.

However, the east London club refused to fork out the £20m the Danish outfit demanded for the winger.

West Ham felt that Nordsjaelland were asking for too much money for a player who would not make an instant impact in the Premier League.

The Hammers have walked away from the negotiations but it has been claimed that a move to the Premier League is still on the cards.

Osman has other suitors in the top flight of England and his representatives are trying to drum up more interest.

There is an expectation that by Thursday night’s deadline, a Premier League club will sign the winger.

It remains to be seen if West Ham revive their interest in him if Nordsjaelland agree to negotiate the price down.
