Crystal Palace have made a tentative enquiry to West Ham United regarding Maxwel Cornet, according to the Daily Mail.

Goalscoring has been an issue for Crystal Palace this season and Roy Hodgson wants a solution in the ongoing window.

West Ham’s Cornet, who has struggled to win over Hammers boss David Moyes, is on Crystal Palace’s wish list.

Nottingham Forest initially showed interest in taking Cornet to the City Ground, but they have shifted their focus to Gio Reyna.

Now it has been claimed that Crystal Palace have approached West Ham with a tentative enquiry regarding Cornet.

The 27-year-old has featured only once in the Premier League for West Ham in the ongoing season.

Hodgson’s side have already brought in Daniel Munoz to strengthen his defence and have now shifted their focus to the forward department.

Now all eyes will be on Crystal Palace to see whether they will firm up their interest in Cornet with an official bid.
