Nottingham Forest have agreed a loan deal with Sporting Lisbon for Rodrigo Ribeiro, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

With less than 48 hours left in the transfer window, Nottingham Forest have stepped up their transfer business for this month.

A centre-forward is on Nuno Espirito Santo’s transfer wish list and Forest have identified Sporting Lisbon’s 18-year-old Riberio as an ideal candidate.

Riberio is highly rated in Portugal but has yet to make a senior appearance for the Sporting Lisbon team.

It has been claimed that Nottingham Forest have managed to strike a deal with the Portuguese outfit to take Riberio on loan.

Sporting Lisbon have negotiated a option to buy clause in Riberio’s loan deal which might turn into obligation.

The Tricky Trees are expected to complete a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Gio Reyna today.

And it has been suggested that the Premier League outfit are also keen to bring in a goalkeeper before the end of the window.
