Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona target and Djurgarden starlet Lucas Bergvall is set to make a decision on his future soon.

 

The 17-year-old Djurgarden star is highly rated in Sweden and is not expected to remain in his homeland for much longer.

 

Bergvall’s performances last season for Djurgarden earned the youngster a national call-up in January.

 

 

 

Tottenham are also admirers of Bergvall and want to add him to their set-up.

 

Spanish giants Barcelona are also providing competition for Spurs for the signature of the young midfielder.

 

 

Tottenham and Barcelona are both in talks with the player to convince him on a move.

 

And according to Swedish daily Expressen, Bergvall will soon make a decision on who he wants to join between Barcelona and Tottenham.

 

 

Tottenham will have to dig deep in their pockets if they want to sign the young midfielder, as they would have to pay a fee in the region of £16m, including bonuses.

 

It has been suggested that Tottenham Hotspur’s new technical director Johan Lange is leading the chase for the Swedish youngster.
