Leeds United are set to put Connor Roberts through a medical this afternoon before signing him on loan from Burnley, according to BBC Radio Leeds.

Roberts has been on Leeds’ radar throughout the window but the club only advanced a deal on deadline day.

The Whites have been in talks with Burnley over signing Robers on loan for the rest of the season.

It seems the negotiations have progressed briskly and Leeds are now prepared to get the deal over the line.

An agreement is in place between the two clubs for the full-back to move to Leeds on loan for the rest of the season.

He has been booked for a medical at Leeds’ training base later this afternoon ahead of his proposed loan move.

Roberts will sign a loan contract with Leeds for the rest of the campaign once all the formalities are sorted out.

Leeds have been in the market for a full-back since deciding to move on Luke Ayling and Djed Spence earlier in the window.

Daniel Farke will hope that Roberts will boost his team’s promotion hopes in the second half of the season.
