Sheffield Wednesday and three other clubs are interested in signing Orlando City striker Duncan McGuire, who arrived in England earlier this morning, according to National World.

McGuire appeared to be on his way to Blackburn Rovers, who had a deal in place with the MLS outfit for his signature.

However, late last night Blackburn’s pursuit of the forward collapsed while the striker was on his flight to the UK.

The forward has been spotted in England earlier this morning and the transfer saga involving him is still rumbling on.

It is uncertain whether Blackburn are trying to revive the deal to sign him but there are other clubs in the mix for him.

Sheffield Wednesday are pushing to secure a deal to sign the forward from Orlando City on deadline day.

However, three other clubs are also trying to work out an agreement to sign the striker.

McGuire and his suitors are waiting for an update from Orlando City before the next move takes place on deadline day.
