Crystal Palace have revealed that manager Roy Hodgson was taken ill during today’s training session.
Hodgson’s future at Crystal Palace is under the scanner amid talk that the Eagles are set to sack him.
It has been claimed that former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner is in line to replace Hodgson.
However, Hodgson was due to take a press conference at Crystal Palace this afternoon.
Palace have confirmed it will no longer take place and have revealed that Hodgson was taken ill during this morning’s training session.
“Unfortunately, today’s press conference will no longer take place as scheduled as Roy Hodgson was taken ill during this morning’s training session.”, Crystal Palace said in a statement.
It remains to be seen when a further update about the veteran manager will be provided.
Hodgson’s Palace have been on a poor run of form recently and it is unclear whether he will be in the dugout again soon.
