Jamie O’Hara has revealed Burnley are one of the worst sides he has ever seen in the Premier League and dubbed them ‘hopeless’.

Vincent Kompany’s Clarets dominated the Championship last season, but in the Premier League they have often looked out of their depth.

Burnley were crushed 5-0 at Turf Moor by Arsenal on Saturday afternoon and have not won a game since just before Christmas.

They sit second bottom in the league table, with just three wins and have conceded a huge 55 goals in 25 games.

For former Premier League star O’Hara, Burnley are just not up to Premier League standard.

He said after the final whistles had blown on talkSPORT’s GameDay Live: “Hopeless, [Burnley are] one of the worst teams I’ve seen in the Premier League.”

Burnley have kept faith with Kompany despite appearing to be destined for relegation.

The Clarets are next due to head to the capital to face Crystal Palace, before then playing host to Bournemouth.
