Wolves will not bag any compensation from the exit of Brayden Clarke, despite him being set to join Arsenal, according to the Express & Star.

The teenage talent is highly rated at Molineux and has turned out for Wales at Under-17 level, with his debut coming when he was only 15.

Arsenal also admire Clarke and feel he could kick on to have a productive future in the game.

They are now in the process of signing the teenager and will bag him as a free agent after his exit from Wolves.

Due to Clarke’s status, Wolves will not receive a compensation fee for him.

Clarke, 16, has been on the books at Wolves for seven years and progressed through the various age groups in the club’s youth set-up.

He will now look to kick on with his development at Arsenal and ultimately break through into the first team mix at the Emirates.

Clarke is the son of ex-Scotland midfielder Nigel Quashie.

Several other sides in the Premier League were also keen on him, but it is Arsenal who have won the race.
