Aldershot Town manager Tommy Widdrington has stressed that Bristol City loanee Dylan Kadji is a player who likes to tackle and believes he has the ability to become a driving force in their midfield.

The 20-year-old defensive midfielder is a Bristol City academy product and spent the first half of the season on loan with Forest Green Rovers.

Due to a lack of game time, Bristol City terminated Kadji’s loan spell with Forest Green Rovers and have sent him to Aldershot Town on loan for the rest of the season.

Widdrington pointed out that Kadji is an athletic player with a strong presence in midfield and emphasised that the youngster loves to tackle.

The Aldershot boss added that the Robins loanee has fitted well with his squad and believes that Kadji has the ability to be the driving force of his midfield.

“Dylan is a strong presence and an athletic lad who I’d say ‘likes a tackle’ but also can be a driving force in midfield”, Widdrington told Aldershot Town’s official site.

“He was welcomed into the group on Monday morning and fitted in seamlessly and I’m sure the Shots fans will welcome Dylan to The EBB!”

Aldershot are set to face Oldham Athletic at the weekend and all eyes will be on Kadji to see whether Widdrington will give him his debut.
