Plymouth Argyle boss Ian Foster has warned Sheffield Wednesday that they will look to cut down Owls star Ike Ugbo’s supply line this evening.

Sheffield Wednesday agreed a loan deal with Troyes to sign the 25-year-old centre forward on loan in the winter transfer window.

Ugbo has been in incredible form, as he has netted six times in his last six appearances for Sheffield Wednesday.

Tonight the Owls are set to take on Plymouth at Hillsborough and Foster stressed that Sheffield Wednesday have been technically excellent in recent games

He pointed out that the Owls have an in-form striker in Ugbo, but added that they are aware of the players who work as a supply chain for the forward and warned that Argyle will look to snuff out the supply lines for the attacker.

“[Sheffield Wednesday have] got good players, particularly in central areas”, Foster told Plymouth Argyle’s official media.

[They are] a slightly different team this year from the team that won promotion through the playoffs.

“They are technically excellent.

“If you allow them time and space, they’ve got the ability to punish you.

“They’ve got a striker bang in form.

“It’s important that we are aware of his strengths and but aware of the strengths of the players who supply him as well.

“Sometimes you’ve got to stop danger at its source.”

Sheffield Wednesday have managed to win four out of their last five league games and Danny Rohl’s side will be determined to secure a win at Hillsborough against Foster’s side.
