Wolves could emerge as a potential destination for Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati in the summer transfer window.

Brighton signed the attacker on loan last summer, but Fati has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League, despite the big cost of the deal.

The Seagulls are set to send him back to Barcelona at the end of the season without even trying to sign him on a permanent basis.

Fati is not part of Barcelona’s plans at the moment and the club will be looking to find a new buyer for him in the summer.

According to Catalan daily Sport, Wolves are likely to emerge as an option for Fati in the transfer window.

The Premier League club share a close relationship with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who has brought several players to the club.

The Portuguese is likely to try and take Fati to Wolves on another loan deal from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

However, there are suggestions that Fati is likely to try and find a club in Spain following his experience in England.
