Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk has spoken to Leicester City loan star Yunus Akgun and told him he wants him at the Istanbul club next season.

Akgun is on loan at Leicester for the season and the Foxes have a €9m option to buy included in the agreement.

They have yet to signal whether they want to trigger it to keep hold of the 23-year-old, but would be unlikely to do so if Akgun himself expressed a desire to leave.

And Galatasaray boss Buruk does not want the attacker to stay at the King Power Stadium.

According to Turkish outlet Star, Buruk recently spoke to Akgun to tell him he wants him at Galatasaray next season.

Akgun was informed he has an important place in Galatasaray’s plans for next term.

The Turkey international is claimed to be undecided about his future and wants to wait until the end of the season to take a call on it.

His decision could in large part depend on whether Leicester can win promotion back to the Premier League this season.
