Bayern Munich are yet to hold any concrete negotiations for Unai Emery despite having an interest in the Aston Villa manager.

The German giants are scrambling to find a new manager for next season with Tomas Tuchel set to leave at the end of the ongoing campaign.

Xabi Alonso, their top target, decided to stay put at Bayer Leverkusen and Julian Nagelsmann signed a new contract with the Germany national team.

Emery has emerged as a potential target for the German side as they look to wrestle back the Bundesliga title next term and they have spoken to him.

However, according to German magazine Kicker (via Fussball Transfers), there are no concrete negotiations at the moment between Emery and the German giants.

He has been gradually emerging as a big target for the club as the Spaniard continues to impress in the Midlands.

Emery insisted at the weekend that he is focused on Aston Villa but has not completely ruled out moving to Bayern Munich.

It remains to be seen whether the German giants decide to make a concrete move for him in the coming weeks.
