Wolfsburg goalkeeper and Celtic target Koen Casteels wants to make a decision on his future before Euro 2024 starts and will prioritise what is best for his family.

The Belgian goalkeeper is leaving German side Wolfsburg this summer after deciding not to extend his contract and is not short of interest.

Scottish champions Celtic, who will lose Joe Hart to retirement, are one of the clubs keen to sign the goalkeeper.

Anderlecht and Sevilla are also interested, while there has been talk of options in Saudi Arabia.

Casteels does not want to take his time deciding what to do and is keen to make his decision before Euro 2024 starts, according to Belgian outlet Voetbal Krant.

The shot-stopper will also prioritise his family when deciding what to do, which may benefit Anderlecht, as they live in Belgium.

Anderlecht are hoping they can see off Celtic and Sevilla, despite knowing both clubs are financially more powerful.

A move to Celtic would hand Casteels the chance to play in the Champions League next season however, as well as being financially lucrative.
