Sheffield Wednesday may have a chance of landing Brest midfielder Karamoko Dembele on loan this summer, according to the Star.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been on loan at Blackpool this season, scoring eight times and registering 13 assists in League One.

His performances have piqued the interest of a few Championship clubs who are considering signing him.

Sheffield Wednesday have identified Dembele as a potential target and have been in contact with regards to signing him this summer.

The Championship club may not have the money to fund a permanent transfer but it has been claimed that a loan move is a possibility.

The talks are at an early stage but Sheffield Wednesday are pushing hard to try and sign Dembele in the upcoming transfer window.

Brest are open to the winger leaving again this summer and could consider a loan offer if the deal is right.

Dembele has made a big impact at Blackpool this season winning the Club’s Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters’ Player of the Season awards for his efforts.
