Sunderland managerial contender Will Still is now considered to be a priority option by French top flight side Lens.

The 31-year-old tactician departed from Reims early this month and he is being courted by several clubs.

Still is on Sunderland’s managerial list, but the Black Cats are currently talking with several candidates before they make their decision.

Sunderland’s fellow Championship outfit, Norwich also showed interest in the Belgian, but they have decided to appoint Johannes Hoff Thorup.

Still has admirers in the French league, as according to French sports daily L’Equipe (via RMC) Lens are considering the Belgian as one of their priority options.

Lens boss Franck Haise is set to part ways with the club to take up the managerial role at Nice.

Still has been linked with a move to Sunderland since last year, as the Black Cats hierarchy are admirers of the job he did at Reims.

It has been suggested that Still is keen on managing in England, but if he takes the Lens job then that ambition looks set to have to wait.
