Rangers and Leeds United target Ben Johnson will continue talks with West Ham United over a new deal at the club, according to Sky Sports News.
The defender is out of contract at the London Stadium this summer and his situation has alerted several sides.
Leeds are keen on the defender and looking to tempt him to Elland Road, while Rangers are interested in adding Johnson to the Philippe Clement revolution.
Johnson though has not closed the door on West Ham and will continue to speak to the Hammers about staying.
West Ham are keen to reach an agreement to keep the defender at the club and it had been suggested Johnson was sure to leave.
The defender though is continuing to speak to the Hammers.
If Johnson does opt to leave the London Stadium, it is not certain he will remain in the UK.
He has interest from clubs in Serie A and La Liga, which could prove tempting.
The 24-year-old made 14 appearances for West Ham in the Premier League this season, while he also featured in the Europa League, FA Cup and the EFL Cup.
