Fenerbahce president Ali Koc has insisted the Turkish club want Arsenal and West Ham United target Ferdi Kadioglu to stay at the club this summer.

The 24-year-old left-back joined Fenerbahce in 2018 and has established himself as a regular in the Turkish side’s starting line-up.

Kadioglu has two years left on his current contract and is attracting interest from Premier League giants Arsenal and West Ham.

Koc revealed that Kadioglu attracted interest from a number of clubs in the middle of the season, and stressed his intention to keep the player at the club.

The Fenerbahce supremo also added that they have not received any offers for the West Ham and Arsenal target so far, adding that they will consider a bid if it is in the region of €35m to €40m.

“Ferdi Kadioglu is a great kid”, Koc was quoted as saying by Turkish outlet Futbol Arena.

“There were a lot of teams interested in the middle of the season, but there are no offers at the moment.

“Also, Ferdi has to stay in this team.

“If there is an offer of €35m to €40m, we will look at the situation, but we want Ferdi to stay 100 per cent”.

Arsenal and West Ham are both looking to improve their left-back situation and it remains to be seen whether either will make a move for Kadioglu in the near future.
