Championship side Queens Park Rangers are pushing to secure a deal for the signature of French goalkeeper Paul Nardi on a free transfer.
Marti Cifuentes managed to keep QPR in the Championship last season due to the terrific form they showed in the latter half of the campaign.
The Spaniard wants to bring in reinforcements to push QPR further up the league table in the 2024/25 season.
QPR are looking to bring in a new goalkeeper this summer and the club have been tracking several options.
However, it seems the R’s have identified Nardi, who is available on a free transfer after his contract expired at Gent.
His free-agent status makes him an attractive option for QPR, as they look to make smart signings.
The London club are pressing forward to try and get a deal over the line to sign Nardi on a free transfer, according to French journalist Mohamed Toubache Ter.
Nardi has played in France and Belgium and is believed to be keen on testing himself in England.
The 30-year-old counts Nancy, Monaco, Rennes, Lorient, Cercle Brugge and now Gent amongst his former clubs.
