Oxford United attacker Mark Harris is attracting interest from another Championship side, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The U’s secured promotion up to the Championship last season and boss Des Buckingham is shaping the squad for the challenges of the second tier.
Harris was key in helping Oxford get up as he grabbed 15 goals in the regular League One season.
Now Oxford have to deal with interest in the 25-year-old and it comes from Welsh side Swansea City.
The Swans want to add to their options in the final third over the course of the window and Wales-born Harris fits the bill.
He came through the youth set-up at Swansea’s Welsh rivals Cardiff City and played for the Bluebirds, but that is not putting the Swans off.
Harris has also been capped at international level by Wales.
Oxford only landed Harris last summer when his Cardiff deal ran out and Swansea could offer him a quick return to Wales.
