The agent of Newcastle United target Malick Thiaw will hold talks with other Premier League clubs in the coming days to gauge interest in his client.

The 22-year-old centre-back’s future at AC Milan has come under the scanner this summer due to concrete interest from Newcastle.

The Magpies are interested in getting their hands on the defender and are preparing to table a bid for him in the ongoing transfer window.

However, his agent is ready to explore interest from other clubs and a few more Premier League teams have their eyes on Thiaw.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the defender’s agent will engage in talks with his other suitors in the Premier League.

Meetings are expected between a few clubs in the Premier League and Thiaw’s agent in the coming days.

The defender and his representatives want to understand the level of interest in him before playing their cards this summer.

His agent explored Premier League interest in Thiaw as early as January.

AC Milan do not want to sell him but they could be forced to consider offers in the region of €35m and €40m.

Thiaw is also keen on improving his wages from his current pay package of €800,000 per year.
