Liverpool have a clear interest in signing free agent midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.
The France international, who was in action at Euro 2024 recently, is now a free agent following the end of his deal with Juventus.
Juventus tried hard to convince him to sign on fresh terms but have failed and Rabiot’s agents are offering him to clubs in the Premier League.
Liverpool have had recent talks with Rabiot’s camp and, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, there is a clear interest on the part of the Reds.
Having had talks with Rabiot’s people, Liverpool have not been put off and appear to believe the finances of a deal are do-able.
Rabiot is beyond the age profile of player they would usually look for, but he would add experience to Arne Slot’s squad.
Liverpool have been criticised for their slow start to the transfer window this summer.
They were keen on Leny Yoro, but believed he was going to Real Madrid and Manchester United ultimately stepped in and did a deal for the promising centre-back.
