Celtic are still waiting for Wolves’ to respond about Hugo Bueno as the Bhoys are interested in the 21-year-old left-back, according to the Daily Record.

The Scottish champions are looking to bring in new players to defend their league title and they have identified multiple targets this summer.

They want to bring in a new left-back to compete with Greg Taylor and Wolves man Bueno is a player they like.

Celtic have already discussed a potential loan deal for Bueno with the Premier League side.

And now it has been claimed that Celtic are yet to hear from the Premier League side about Bueno.

Bueno debuted for the senior team back in 2022 and he is only two appearances short of playing 50 times for Wolves.

Last season, he played 25 times in all competitions and mostly played as a substitute under Gary O’Neil.

Now it remains to be seen if the Premier League side will let the 21-year-old leave on a loan deal to play for the Scottish champions in the upcoming season.

Celtic will want a quick answer as they need to know whether to move on other targets.
