West Brom will be receiving well below £2m from selling striker Brandon Thomas-Asante to Hull City, according to Hull Live.
Carlos Corberan’s side are losing the services of the attacker, who is set to be confirmed as a new arrival by Hull.
It had been suggested in some quarters that the Baggies would get between £3m and £2.5m for the striker.
Hull though are landing Thomas-Asante from West Brom for well below a figure of £2m and they view it as good business.
The attacker clocked a total of 43 appearances across all competitions for the Baggies over the course of last season.
He found the back of the net on 12 occasions in the process.
Hull will be looking for Thomas-Asante to quickly make an impact and hit the ground running under new Tigers boss Tim Walter.
Thomas-Asante is signing a three-year deal at Hull which also contains an option for a fourth year.
