Vitoria Guimaraes winger Jota Silva has arrived in England as he prepares to complete his move to Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports News.

The 24-year-old played a key role in helping his side finish fifth in Portuguese league table last season which allowed them to secure a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.

Silva finished with 22 goal contributions in 41 appearances overall and has drawn interest from England.

West Ham were amongst his suitors earlier this summer, but it is Nottingham Forest who are set to snap him up.

Nottingham Forest have agreed a fee of €7m plus a further €5m in add-ons with Vitoria for Silva.

Now the player has arrived in England as Forest look to put him through a medical and complete the move.

Vitoria Guimaraes coach Rui Borges confirmed earlier in the day that Silva was about to leave the club.

He earned his international debut with Portugal earlier this year and has played two matches for them so far.
