Aberdeen are interested in snapping up Finland international winger Topi Keskinen, according to journalist Scott Burns.

The Dons are looking for further additions to back new boss Jimmy Thelin as he tackles his first campaign at Pittodrie.

Finnish wide-man Keskinen has now become of interest to Aberdeen as they mull a swoop.

Keskinen, 21, is on the books at Finland’s biggest club in the shape of HJK Helsinki.

Aberdeen came up against him in the Europa Conference League last year and started to track his development.

They have seen enough to hold an interest in bringing the Finn to Scotland.

Keskinen has been in action this summer for HJK Helsinki, turning out in the Champions League qualifiers.

The Finnish top flight is also in full swing and the winger has so far made 17 appearances for HJK Helsinki in the league, scoring six times and providing three assists for his team-mates.

A move to Scotland would be likely to appeal for the Finland international.
