Celtic star Bosun Lawal has agreed to a three-year contract at Stoke City, according to Football Scotland.
Lawal is wanted by the English Championship side, who have thrashed out an agreement on a fee with Celtic for his services.
He has been booked in for a medical by the Potters, who are pushing hard to get the deal over the line and will give Lawal his checks this afternoon.
Stoke will pay a fee which is an initial £2m but could rise to closer to £3m over time due to add-ons.
Lawal has agreed to sign a contract with Stoke which will run until the summer of 2027.
The Celtic star was on loan at Fleetwood Town in League One last season, but was unable to prevent them from being relegated.
Lawal still made a big impression and it was thought he could be in Brendan Rodgers’ plans at Celtic.
The Scottish champions though have made the decision to cash in on the 21-year-old, who can operate in defence or midfield.
Celtic viewed the bid as too good to reject.
