HJK Helsinki winger Topi Keskinen has agreed the terms of his contract with Aberdeen and is set to undergo his medical with the Scottish club this week, according to Sky Sports News.
The Dons have been working on a deal to take the player to Scotland and are set to pay Finnish club Helsinki a fee of around £800,000 to seal the deal.
Keskinen is now set to fly to Scotland where he will undergo all the necessary procedures before Aberdeen wrap up the move.
Keskinen has agreed the terms of a four-year contract with Aberdeen and is set to undergo his medical at the club this week.
It remains to be seen whether they can make an official announcement in time to make sure that Keskinen is available for this weekend’s Scottish League Cup match against Queen’s Park.
The 21-year-old has been in goalscoring form for Helsinki in the Finnish top flight this season, finding the back of the net six times in 17 league matches.
He played in the Europa Conference League group stages, but could not help his side qualify from Group G.
Keskinen is a Finland Under-21 international and can operate in multiple roles on the pitch.
