Manchester United have seen one of their stars give their availability to a move to a Serie A side who have made an approach for his services.

The Red Devils have just landed a double deal with Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt joining from Bayern Munich.

A midfielder is wanted at Old Trafford, but the club are expected to make sales to bring in more money and Scott McTominay is someone who could leave.

Fulham have made multiple bids for the Scottish midfielder, however Manchester United have rejected them all.

Galatasaray are also keen on McTominay and would like to take him to Turkey, but they have no agreement in place.

Now Napoli are trying to snap up McTominay and have made a loan with an option to buy offer.

McTominay is, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, willing to make the move and ‘has given his availability’ to Napoli.

Manchester United though want a €30m permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy.

It is unclear if Napoli will be able to meet their demands, but McTominay is prepared to go.
