Valencia coach Ruben Baraja has brushed off speculation linking goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili with a move to Liverpool and insisted he is ready to play on Saturday.

Liverpool are working on a deal to land the shot-stopper and then send him on loan to Bournemouth to further hone his skills in the Premier League.

They have no agreement with Valencia yet though as Los Che are suggested to be demanding around €40m.

A deal does not look to be advanced as Mamardashvili is available to play for Valencia on Saturday, Los Che’s coach has said.

“Giorgi is a Valencia player and is ready to play tomorrow”, he said at a press conference when asked.

Mamardashvili is suggested to have already given the green light to a move to Liverpool if a deal can be done.

Valencia are due to play host to Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday and all eyes will be on whether Mamardashvili plays.

Los Che held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in the same fixture last term.
