Leeds United do not expect to lose another one of their attackers, who has been linked with an exit, before the window closes, according to LeedsLive.
Daniel Farke suffered a big blow to his attacking options earlier this summer when Crysencio Summerville left for West Ham United.
Now he has had to deal with losing Georginio Rutter to Brighton in a further weakening of his goal threat weapons.
Speculation also continues to rage over the future of Willy Gnonto, who failed to make Italy’s Euro 2024 squad this summer on the back of a season in the Championship.
Leeds though do not expect to lose Gnonto, who played the full 90 minutes in the weekend draw against West Brom, before the window shuts.
The winger has been linked with a number of clubs, including Premier League side Everton.
With time remaining in the window, Leeds will hope they do not come under big pressure for Gnonto.
At present though the attacker has not asked to leave and Leeds are fully expecting to keep him at the club.
