Several Championship sides have made enquiries for Ipswich Town striker Ali Al Hamadi ahead of the end of the transfer window next week, according to The Athletic.

Al Hamadi joined the Tractor Boys in January this year and scored four goals in 14 appearances to help them get promoted to the Premier League.

He became the first Iraqi player to feature in the Premier League when he came on in Ipswich’s 2-0 defeat against Liverpool at the weekend.

There are suggestions that Ipswich could be open to letting him go before the transfer window closes next week.

It has been claimed that several Championship sides are interested in signing the Iraqi this summer.

A number of his suitors have made enquiries to probe his availability in the ongoing transfer window.

However, Ipswich are yet to agree on a deal with any club to let the striker go this summer.

Kieran McKenna is still pondering over his options and a decision Al Hamadi could be made closer to the end of the transfer window.
