Everton have joined West Ham United in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler in the final week of the transfer window.

West Ham have been working on a deal to take the Spanish midfielder to the London Stadium this summer.

The Hammers are in in talks with PSG over a potential loan deal with a potential permanent move, but his arrival is dependent on them moving on a few players.

However, West Ham are now facing Premier League competition for the signature of Soler this summer.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Everton are also pushing to secure a deal for the Spanish midfielder.

Sean Dyche wants additions to his midfield before the window closes in the next seven days.

The PSG midfielder has emerged as an option and the club are pushing to try and beat West Ham to his signature.

No agreement is in place with either of the two clubs but Soler has more than one option on his table from the Premier League.
