Leeds United have fended off late interest in Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon, according to the Athletic.

Tottenham recently agreed to loan Solomon to Leeds for the season and the winger underwent his medical with the Championship club.

There was though a delay in the deal and it has emerged that Solomon had late interest from elsewhere.

Leeds though have seen it off and the winger is now set to complete a move to Elland Road on Tuesday.

The Whites have a good relationship with Tottenham, having loaned Joe Rodon last season and signed him on a permanent basis earlier this summer, while Archie Gray was sold to the north London club.

Spurs are happy for Solomon to join Leeds for the season and play regularly.

There is not though any option for Leeds to sign Solomon on a permanent basis when the loan spell ends.

If Leeds want to keep Solomon they will have to negotiate a deal with Spurs, much as they did for Rodon this summer.
