Juventus winger Federico Chiesa is ‘super keen’ on completing a move to Liverpool in the final days of the transfer window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Liverpool made exploratory enquiries for the winger in the last few days to get information on the conditions of doing a deal.
However, the Reds are now serious about taking Chiesa to Anfield and are in concrete negotiations with Juventus.
Barcelona have also been interested in the 26-year-old and he was said to be preferring a move to the Catalan giants.
However, it has been claimed that Chiesa is now pushing for a move to the Merseyside giants ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
During talks over his future on Monday, Chiesa showed his willingness to join the Premier League.
Juventus want a fee of €15m from his sale given his contract is set to be over at the end of the ongoing season.
Liverpool are prepared to meet the asking price and the two clubs are holding concrete negotiations for the transfer.
