Leeds United are yet to table a formal offer for Freiburg winger Roland Sallai ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline, according to The Athletic.
Daniel Farke is pushing to bring in a few more fresh faces into his Leeds squad before the transfer window closes until January on Friday night.
Leeds are in the market for a midfielder, a forward and a full-back but they are also looking to bring in one more versatile attacker.
Sallai has been on Leeds’ radar this summer and the club have been considering making a move for him.
However, with just days left in the window, Leeds are yet to put in a formal bid for the Freiburg winger.
Sallai is a player the club are watching and they are pondering over making a move for him in the next couple of days.
Freiburg are also said to be preparing to receive offers for the player but Leeds are still to pull the trigger on a bid.
The 27-year-old is an experienced international with 52 caps under his belt for the Hungarian national team.
