Aston Villa midfielder Enzo Barrenechea prefers a move to La Liga side Valencia amid interest from other clubs.
The Argentine midfielder came to Villa Park this summer with Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus as part of a deal which saw Douglas Luiz going to the Italian club.
The 23-year-old played in Villans’ pre-season matches but has not been selected by Aston Villa in either of their Premier League matchday squads so far.
Iling-Junior has already joined Serie A side Bologna on a season-long loan and it has been suggested that Barrenechea is also set to be loaned out before Friday.
Spanish top flight outfit Valencia are interested in signing the Aston Villa midfielder on loan.
And according to Spanish outlet Relevo, Barrenechea is also in favour of joining Valencia this summer.
It has been suggested that the Argentine has multiple suitors but he preferring a move to Los Che.
It remains to be seen if Valencia will be able agree a deal with the Premier League side for Barrenechea before the window in Spain shuts.
