Everton and Nottingham Forest have asked about the situation of a 20-year-old winger and his current club would not be opposed to doing business.

The pressure is on Everton to add to Sean Dyche’s squad before the window closes, with worrying signs so far about their ability to compete in the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest meanwhile need to boost their attack and have been primarily hunting a striker, with Eddie Nketiah and Santiago Gimenez chases failing.

Now eyes have been cast towards France and Lyon by both clubs, with both Premier League sides asking about winger Ernest Nuamah.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Lyon would not be opposed to selling given their poor financial situation.

Les Gones are under pressure to bring in money through player sales and want €30m for Nuamah.

Two Saudi Pro League sides have contacted Nuamah’s agents, but the 20-year-old is not keen to move to Saudi Arabia.

Nuamah has played in both Lyon’s Ligue 1 games this season, defeats against Rennes and Monaco.
