Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are currently leading the race to sign Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumare.
The newly promoted Premier League side have been active in the transfer market and they are also focusing on trimming their squad.
The 25-year-old midfielder is a player they are open to letting go this summer and he has no shortage of suitors.
Soumare has been linked with Napoli, Lyon, Galatasaray and Ligue 1 giants Monaco regarding a potential move.
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Monaco are currently the favourites to get their hands on the Foxes man.
Monaco are big admirers of the Leicester City midfielder and are in talks with the Premier League side for him.
Lyon and Galatasaray however, are keeping a close eye on Soumare’s development and if a move falls through to Monaco, the French outfit and the Turkish giants could make a late move for the Frenchman.
Now it remains to be seen if Soumare will end up at Monaco by Friday amid fierce competition for his signature.
